What is life coaching?
Life coaching is a synergistic relationship between an experienced life coach and a client designed to tap into your full potential. Similarly to an athletic coach who helps positively and enthusiastically support, gives useful insight, and open-minded, non-judgemental perspective, a life coach can do for you in order to help you reach your highest life's potential: in personal life, love, spirit, and career! Life coaches use different practices, activities, and experiences to help individual clients reach this potential, so not every life coach will be the right fit for you, but if you resonate with my style of coaching by reading the FAQs below, please do connect with me and schedule a discovery session to learn a bit more about the programs offered!
Why nature-based, body-based, mindfulness-based practices?
Research has shown that being in contact with nature (including finding meaning and metaphor in it) has an astronomically positive effect on one's psyche. Even looking at a picture of nature can help ease stress and anxiety. Mindfulness has been proven in similar ways to help people stay present in their day-to-day lives and to create a life that is full of gratitude and ease. Body intelligence is unique to each person, as are our experiences in life, and one's own body intelligence can teach one so much about what is really going on in your life. It can also help ground you to this earth and stay in the present moment: the only place your body can be.
Using these methods to move through breakups, to gain self-confidence, or to connect to yourself or the Universe more is my specialty and can help you create a better life for yourself and those around you! This is life coaching at it's finest using effective and creative techniques.

What kind of people get the best results working with you?
Every person, despite what they've gone through, deserves to reach their full potential but, as we know, not every life coach will be the right fit for you. I've found that my programs, style, and techniques work best for:
Those who are experiencing a life transition (i.e. divorce, break up, move to new city, new job, etc.)
Those having issues with self-confidence (including with your body)
Those that are ready for deep work and transformation
Those that are tired of being stressed out in their lives
Those that are open to trying techniques that may be different from what they've experienced before
Those that want to learn alternative ways to live
Those who are struggling with feeling good about their bodies, lives, emotions, etc.
How do I know if I'm ready to work with you?
You'll know that you're ready to work with me if you feel, in your gut, in your heart, with your intuition that it's time for a change, that you deeply know that there is more to this life, more to how you can and want to live. You know inside that their is a "YES to Life" person that is being stifled by low self-confidence or stress or unhappiness or a combination of all of these things and more!
You'll know if you're feeling one or more of the following:
You're tired of feeling crappy about yourself and your body
You're sick of being tired, stressed, and negative
You know there's more to life than the one society has said is the "right way" to live
You're ready to take a risk, to be honest with yourself, and work hard to transform your life!
You want to have a better connection to yourself, others, and nature
You want to fully live your life and you're ready to do it!
If you're unsure, that's totally OK! Let's talk and have a conversation to see if one of my programs or sessions would work for you!
What kind of results can I expect?
Individual results will vary (because every person is sooo different - we're all very unique snowflakes!) but there can be so many benefits from my programs and working with me, so long as you work hard and make the decision that you are ready to be honest and happy and adventurous.
Some results may include, feeling deeply connected with yourself, your body, your friends and family, and nature; becoming less stressed; being more aligned and in congruence with yourself; feeling more balanced; being far more adventurous - finally saying YES to life; being more confident in your body, mind, and life; and being more excited to start your days and maintain a positive lens on the world!
We'll create tools and activities tailored to you that you can take with you for the rest of your life so you can stay on the path to an adventurous, confident, aligned life.
How quickly can I expect results?
Results can vary from individual to individual as it really will depend on how ready you are to transform, how open you are to doing the new activities, how committed you are to doing the "homework" when we aren't together, how motivated you are to get going, and how committed you are to the program.
Most of my clients see small changes in their life almost immediately and larger, deeper changes, after about three months. Many of my clients feel less stressed, more confident, and more connected within the first week or two. After three to four months, many clients begin seeing the big changes in their lives: calmer internal energy, far less stress in their lives, confidence in their body and life, more positive minds, and a more adventurous lense on life.
Again, it all depends on how committed you are to doing the work!
How is working with you in this way different from working with other life coaches?
My approach to life coaching is very experiential, nature-based, body-based, and mindfulness based. It's more of a holistic approach to life coaching that can be deemed very different from other life coaches' approaches. While everything is deemed as important, what I try to do is help you find the deep transformation that will stick with you for the rest of your life, not just for a few months.
If you work with me, expect us to be doing some activities outside, doing work on your inner self through experiential activities, as well as some more traditional life coaching activities, such as goal-setting, using worksheets, etc.
